Culture Lab Board

Culture Lab is the Washington Bus’ cultural and media arm—co-run by a core team of Bus staff and members of the Culture Lab Board, a member-led leadership council. Culture Lab is entirely youth-led, and seeks to directly invest in and intentionally uplift youth arts, youth culture, and youth stories. 

Members write stories, create content, co-lead events, and recruit peers to be part of the Culture Lab project, while staff coordinate and provide additional support or other content creating needs.

Members interested in becoming part of the Culture Lab Board should schedule a 1:1 with Bailey Medilo, Communications Manager.

Expected Time Commitment: 5-10 hours a month, contingent on personal capacity & projects
