Alliance for Youth Action

The Alliance for Youth Action grows progressive people power across America by empowering local young people’s organizations to strengthen our democracy, fix our economy, and correct injustices through on-the-ground organizing.

The Washington Bus is a founding organization of the Alliance for Youth Action.

The Washington Bus is a proud member of:

Balance Our Tax Code

Balance Our Tax Code is a coalition made up of more than 80 labor unions, non-profits, immigrant rights advocates, human service providers, housing advocates and activists.

Together, we work to educate, advocate, shape public opinion, and pass laws until we have a tax code that supports a way of life that works for all of us, not just the wealthy few.

Communities for our Colleges (C4C)

Communities for Our Colleges (C4C), a project of Just Strategy, is a multiracial student-centered campaign in Washington State that works to improve the state’s community colleges by engaging students, faculty, staff and the community to advocate for improved funding, access, and racial equity.

Washington for Equitable Representation

Washington for Equitable Representation is a statewide, multi-racial coalition fighting to achieve equitable representation through proportional ranked-choice voting and other democracy reforms.

Washington Families for Freedom

Washington Families for Freedom is a statewide coalition committed to protecting parents and students’ rights by defeating two anti-student ballot initiatives in the 2025 election. We are standing up for the privacy and equality of all students by protecting our laws that ensure every student—transgender or not—can play school sports fairly and safely.

Washington Voting Justice Coalition

The WA Voting Justice Coalition is a group of community organizations and individuals, dedicated to voting rights and access in Washington State. We believe that the vote is our tool, as ordinary people, to have a voice in our government. Washingtonian voters should have the opportunity to cast their ballot, and have it counted.
