Candidate Survivor
The stakes in 2025 are higher than a nat 20 on a persuasion check. With the mayor’s office, city attorney, and Seattle City Council seats all up for dice grabs, it’s time to rally your party, crack open your voter guide spellbook, and embark on the quest for a better city!
This year, The Washington Bus Education Fund and The Stranger summon you to Candidate Survivor: The Tabletop Campaign—a mythical-meets-municipal showdown where brave candidates will face a gauntlet of trials for your goblin-viewing pleasure. From charisma-based talent checks to lip sync battles and chaotic policy encounters, everything unfolds under the watchful eye of your Dungeon Mistress for the evening: Seattle drag royalty, Aleksa Manila!
Your voice—and your vote—decides who earns inspiration... and who gets banished.
