CALLING ALL YOUTH!!!
Are you concerned about climate change and how it is impacting your community? Are you 15-25 years old? Washington workers and families know the impacts of the climate crisis all too well: out-of-control wildfires, devastating floods, unrelenting heatwaves. We are all impacted by climate change.
The Washington Bus Education Fund and 350 Seattle invites you to the, “Make Polluters Pay Youth Climate Listening Session”! We’re hosting this listening session to hear the lived experiences of youth in our communities, to collaborate on a law that requires the largest fossil fuel companies pay their fair share for the climate damages they’ve caused across our state, and discuss how we build climate resiliency throughout our communities.
Make Polluters Pay is a national campaign working to build durable movement infrastructure that can continue to fight the fossil fuel industry and lead in the transition to clean energy—at both the local and state levels. We all deserve to live in a clean, healthy and safe environment. To learn more about the campaign visit: https://www.makepolluterspaywa.org/
