This Halloween, the Washington Bus is teaming up with grassroots groups in 12 states for the largest and most entertaining non-partisan get-out-the-vote effort in the nation this fall: Trick or Vote.
Nationwide, thousands of costumed volunteers in 25 cities will knock on more than 100,000 doors in youth-heavy precincts encouraging people to vote in the Nov. 4 elections. In the Seattle area, more than 250 volunteers will hit 8,000 homes. A Trick or Vote mission is being planned for Tacoma, too.
