Thanks for your interest in working at the Washington Bus. We’re hiring for the following positions.

Leadership Development Manager

The Leadership Development Manager will work to develop and execute our leadership development programs across the Washington Bus to build a pipeline of youth leaders that are engaged year round through issue-based campaigns, policy, and civic mobilization. This person will manage and execute the Bus’ leadership development programs including recruitment, outreach, retention, and post program engagement efforts across all of these programs. This includes incorporating organizing and base building principles into the leadership development program. The Leadership Development Manager will be primarily responsible for leading the High School Internship and Summer Fellowship programs. This position will also manage the Washington Bus leadership development program organizers, including but not limited to the Campus Organizer.

The ideal candidate will have experience around social justice, political and community organizing, curriculum development, and leadership development program facilitation. They will be excited to work with our Program Team to implement creative and relational leadership engagement strategies to build the political power of young people in Washington State.The ideal candidate will have experience around social justice, political and community organizing, curriculum development, and leadership development program facilitation. Starting Salary: $57,048.61*
Location: Seattle, WA (currently remote)
Direct Supervisor: Co-Executive Director for Policy and Program
Priority Deadline: Friday, April 29, 2022 at 11:59pm Pacific

*This job is part of a collective bargaining agreement with the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades, District Council 5 based in Seattle, Washington.
